Can I import bank statements or CSV files manually?

We don't currently support importing bank transactions via a statement or CSV file. One of the benefits of Prosaic is that we sync live bank transactions via Akahu. This means that those transactions are immutable—they can't be edited by the end user. From an audit perspective, this makes them a very reliable source for capturing payment or income history.

Prosaic provides the ability to sync up to two years of historical transactions and offers live bank feeds over time. However, we do not allow you to import transactions which could otherwise be edited.

If you have bank transaction data that you want to provide to Prosaic and you can't connect your bank account, or if you have history that goes further back than two years, speak with your accountant. We may be able to provide a service for a one-off transaction import.
