How much bank transaction history can I import?

Prosaic can generally import up to 2 years of bank transaction history, which will allow you to get a full previous financial year of expense transactions.

If you bank with ASB, ANZ, or KiwiBank, you may have to do a second step to backfill some of that history, but this can all be done online.

As a rule, we generally provide a full data sync the first time you connect to Prosaic.

However, if you cancel your account and come back later, we may not be able to provide a full year of history again. In such cases, we recommend maintaining a live bank feed with Prosaic to ensure that we capture your expense transactions from the date you sign up for an account onward.

Request More Transactions

If you need further transaction history, you can sign into Prosaic, navigate to Settings > Bank Connections and select the menu for any bank account and 'Request More Bank History', this will take you through a few steps to retrieve a longer transaction history
