What's New - September 2026
September’s update is focused on a few practical improvements to help firms market Prosaic to clients, produce cleaner report packs, work with invoices more efficiently, and get more from Inland Revenue data.
📣 New Marketing Toolkit
Workspace owners and admins now have access to a new Marketing Toolkit in Settings.
It includes personalised sign-up links, client invite copy, logos, screenshots, social assets and a printable flyer, making it easier to introduce Prosaic to clients and promote it across your firm.

📄 More dynamic report packs
Report packs now pull more information directly from your workspace and entity records.
Firm details can flow into report-pack sign-offs, while directors, trustees, partners, proprietors and other directory information stay current while the report is in draft, then freeze when published. We’ve also improved how this information carries through previews, PDFs and Excel exports.

🏛️ Improvements to our Inland Revenue integration
We’ve made Inland Revenue activity easier to understand, with clearer descriptions for transaction types instead of raw IRD codes.
Income tax periods can also now show dedicated provisional-tax information, including amounts billed, paid, remaining and upcoming.
Connect with IRD under settings > integrations to see available account balances

🧾 Import invoices in bulk
You can now upload invoice spreadsheets in CSV or Excel, map the columns and create reviewable draft invoices in bulk.
Repeated invoice numbers are grouped into multi-line invoices, and nothing is sent or numbered during import, so you can review everything before finalising.
✨ Other improvements
A few other smaller improvements this month:
- More flexible transaction views — you can now optionally show and sort by bank account in the transactions table.
- Improved contact management — contacts can now be archived and restored, with related people grouped under business contacts.
- Fixed asset improvements — fully depreciated assets can now be imported at a $0 book value, with further improvements to asset journals and reporting.
